This policy explains when you can get your money back. It expands on §11 of our
Terms of Service — if the two ever disagree, the Terms govern.
Devopsly is operated by Muhammad Hamza, trading as Devopsly, Lahore, Pakistan.
During the beta
Devopsly is currently in free beta. Nothing is charged, so no refunds arise.
When paid plans open, everything below applies.
14-day refund
You can request a full refund within 14 days of any charge — your first
subscription payment or any renewal. You do not have to give a reason.
Email support@devopsly.app from the address on your account and tell us which
charge you want refunded. We aim to reply within two business days.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Paddle processes the refund
as our Merchant of Record, so it appears on your statement from Paddle. Once
approved, banks typically take 5–10 business days to show it.
After 14 days
Beyond 14 days we do not refund the current period as a matter of course, because
you can cancel at any time and keep access until the period you have already paid
for ends — you are never billed for time you have not used.
That said, if something has gone wrong — you were charged twice, charged after
cancelling, or the service was unavailable for a meaningful stretch — email us
anyway. We would rather fix it than hold you to a date.
Cancelling
Cancel at any time from your account settings, or email support@devopsly.app.
Cancelling stops future renewals. Your subscription stays active until the end of
the period you have already paid for, then drops to the Free plan. Cancelling is
not the same as requesting a refund — if you want money back as well, say so.
Annual plans
Annual plans follow the same 14-day rule, counted from the date of the annual
charge. After that window we do not pro-rate the unused portion of a year, so if
you are unsure, start monthly and switch to annual once you know the product suits
you.
What we cannot refund
- Charges made by AWS to your own AWS account. Devopsly reads your billing and configuration data through AWS APIs, and AWS bills you directly for some of those requests — in the region of $2–2.50 per month per connected account. That money goes to AWS, never to us, so we have nothing to refund. This is disclosed before you connect an account, in our Terms and on our pricing page.
- Chargebacks already raised with your bank. If you have started a chargeback, contact us before continuing — the two processes conflict and resolving it directly is faster for both of us.
